With 11 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, and accounting, Erik has worked closely with management teams of public and private companies to help clients achieve their strategic objectives and reach substantial and lasting improvements in their performance. His primary areas of con centration are corporate finance, operational and financial performance improvement, mergers & acquisitions, and strategy. Erik has worked with clients across a range of industries, including technology and telecommunications, energy (oil, gas, and renewables), financial services, healthcare, transportation, consumer goods and manufacturing, and real estate.
Most recently, Erik served for 3 years as Senior Manager of Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., a $308M revenue global technology company, specializing in cloud, digital, messaging and network products and solutions, leading cash management, implementation of global treasury and corporate finance functions, and finding and executing the right financial strategy for the business. Erik assisted the management team on a successful $310M recapitalization transaction of preferred equity, successfully secured a $15M asset backed revolving line of credit, and project managed a M&A transactions of the business. Erik currently lea ds treasury for Synchronoss Technologies.
Prior to joining Synchronoss Technologies, Erik has spent 3.5 years with the deal advisory and strategy arm of KPMG, where he specialized in financial due diligence, valuations, and corporate finance advisory.
Erik earned a BBA from the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration and is an Executive MBA candidate at Nova School of Business and Economics | Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics in partnership with MIT Sloan. Erik holds a certification in Inter national Financial Reporting Standards from the Latvian Association of Certified Auditors.
